The Sony Ericsson P990i is an executive or business phone which lets you stay in touch both through phone calls and email and other messaging systems. The screen of P990 sports an improved resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and a 262K colour depth with impressive brightness and clarity. The <a href=http://www.mobilerainbow.co.uk/alldeals.asp?id=343>Sony Ericsson P990i</a> mobile phone is the first smartphone to adopt Symbian OS v9.1 and the UIQ 3 software platform. The phone supports tri-band GSM and 3G connectivity, InfraRed, Bluetooth, USB, SMS and WLAN. There is a MP3 player, and has a dedicated music button on its side to switch the phone over to music mode. The phone also comes with a stereo FM radio capable of supporting 20 different channels, as well as RDS. The Sony P990 supports SyncML, so synchronization of your contacts and events can be made with PC-based applications. The Web browser, one of its best features is great offering offers the ability to browse the internet with full HTML pages. There is 80MB of internal user memory and a 64 MB Memory Stick which is included in the box. The battery life of the phone is much improved with a claimed 15 hours of talk time and about 17 days (400 hours) on standby.

The smartphone P990 features a web and email client, a calendar and will also allow you to create and modify Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. Files can be synchronised with a PC by USB and connectivity comes from 3G or Wi-Fi.
